STEP 3: On-Ramp Program



Our On Ramp program is an in-depth introduction to CrossFit.  This program will consist of 7 total sessions.  The initial session will be an FMS (Functional Movement Screening) with our on-site PT Brittany Annis.  This session is intended to assess seven basic movement patterns to identify tightness and weakness in the body.  This analysis will last approximately 20 minutes.

Following the FMS, the new member will be assigned a Coach who will assist them in 5 one-on-one training sessions.  During these sessions, your coach will educate you on all of the general movements and skills that are involved in CrossFit workouts.  You will be introduced to general bodyweight movements, gymnastics skills, endurance/capacity techniques, general nutritional advice, and a basic introduction to Olympic lifting. 

The seventh and final session will be a coach-assisted integration into a regular class.  During this time, you and your assigned coach will attend a normal class with the rest of the gym.  Your coach will walk you through the normal class structure and assist you through the warm up and workout for that day. 

This On Ramp program is designed to take between 2-3 weeks allowing for no more than 3 sessions per week.  The scheduling of this program is determined by the availability of both the coach and new member.
